Narrative:
On preflight, found excessive oil under right engine. Contacted contract maintenance to evaluate situation. Mechanic briefed me that he found 3 b-nuts loose and he secured them. When I was reviewing the logbook and the balancing entry, I failed to notice that the mechanic did not enter his signature.

Title: AN MD-S80 FO FAILED TO GET THE SIGNATURE OF A CONTRACT MECH WHO HAD DONE SOME MINOR WORK ON HIS ACFT.
Narrative: ON PREFLT, FOUND EXCESSIVE OIL UNDER R ENG. CONTACTED CONTRACT MAINT TO EVALUATE SIT. MECH BRIEFED ME THAT HE FOUND 3 B-NUTS LOOSE AND HE SECURED THEM. WHEN I WAS REVIEWING THE LOGBOOK AND THE BALANCING ENTRY, I FAILED TO NOTICE THAT THE MECH DID NOT ENTER HIS SIGNATURE.
