Narrative:
Takeoff from emt on runway 1, climb to 1300 ft over washington. Notified would be departing northwest, crossed over I310 freeway and rosemead blvd, nwbound. At 2400 ft headed up towards eaton canyon reservoir. I noticed a red helicopter coming sebound, placing us head-to-head. I made a turn to the left away from mountains. Helicopter passed 200 ft under and within 100 ft. Helicopter turned south also and flew at 5 O'clock position approximately 200 ft below. I kept turning away from the helicopter (left) turn. Helicopter slides inside turn and creates another conflict. He demonstrates aggressive action by closing in tighter. I used power and escaped by outclbing the helicopter and making the helicopter unable to keep up. Helicopter interfered with flight. Demonstrated aggressive behavior and reckless flying endangering my aircraft and crew.

Title: NMAC. A FIXED WING ACFT IS PURSUED AGGRESSIVELY BY A HELI THAT COMES VERY CLOSE TO HIM.
Narrative: TKOF FROM EMT ON RWY 1, CLB TO 1300 FT OVER WASHINGTON. NOTIFIED WOULD BE DEPARTING NW, CROSSED OVER I310 FREEWAY AND ROSEMEAD BLVD, NWBOUND. AT 2400 FT HEADED UP TOWARDS EATON CANYON RESERVOIR. I NOTICED A RED HELI COMING SEBOUND, PLACING US HEAD-TO-HEAD. I MADE A TURN TO THE L AWAY FROM MOUNTAINS. HELI PASSED 200 FT UNDER AND WITHIN 100 FT. HELI TURNED S ALSO AND FLEW AT 5 O'CLOCK POS APPROX 200 FT BELOW. I KEPT TURNING AWAY FROM THE HELI (L) TURN. HELI SLIDES INSIDE TURN AND CREATES ANOTHER CONFLICT. HE DEMONSTRATES AGGRESSIVE ACTION BY CLOSING IN TIGHTER. I USED PWR AND ESCAPED BY OUTCLBING THE HELI AND MAKING THE HELI UNABLE TO KEEP UP. HELI INTERFERED WITH FLT. DEMONSTRATED AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR AND RECKLESS FLYING ENDANGERING MY ACFT AND CREW.
