Narrative:

Just after takeoff, lax tower advised us that something was coming from vicinity of #2 engine. Captain continued to fly aircraft in accordance with flight management procedures. Flight engineer's advised captain that hydraulic fluid in #2 system was decreasing. No other discrepancies noted. Departure control gave us delay vectors while the situation was evaluated. After 'careful' consideration, captain decided to continue to destination. WX was no factor at departure, en route, or destination.

Narrative: JUST AFTER TKOF, LAX TWR ADVISED US THAT SOMETHING WAS COMING FROM VICINITY OF #2 ENG. CAPT CONTINUED TO FLY ACFT IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLT MGMNT PROCS. FE'S ADVISED CAPT THAT HYD FLUID IN #2 SYS WAS DECREASING. NO OTHER DISCREPANCIES NOTED. DEP CTL GAVE US DELAY VECTORS WHILE THE SIT WAS EVALUATED. AFTER 'CAREFUL' CONSIDERATION, CAPT DECIDED TO CONTINUE TO DEST. WX WAS NO FACTOR AT DEP, ENRTE, OR DEST.
