Narrative:
On mar/xx/95, at XA13, upon landing at mcallen miller international airport, after completion of the localizer back course runway 31 approach, on rollout, the nose gear collapsed and the aircraft skidded to a stop on the runway. The main gear remained down and locked. Tower and company were notified and the aircraft was evacuated and towed from the runway. After inspection, it was determined that the nose gear locking mechanism broke causing the gear to collapse. It was not any fault of the pilot.
