Narrative:
At 900 ft AGL the #2 engine exploded, rolled back and failed. Accomplished emergency procedures and shut engine down. Did the approach and landing check and landed 6500 pounds over maximum gross weight. (No fuel dump capability.) FAA jumpseat rider on board. 9 min takeoff to landing. Crew performed flawlessly.
