Narrative:
Altitude deviation corrected after reaching FL220. ATC advised 300 ft difference. We had failed to reset the altimeter 29.92. The correction was made after ATC advised us of the altitude deviation. There is not a check for the crew to reset altitude passing through 18000 ft. More attention should have been given by the flight crew. Supplemental information from acn 301746: this was our last flight of a long day.
