Narrative:

Captain and I returned from lunch to find that the aircraft had been boarded with no crewmember aboard. Ground power was attached to aircraft but aircraft was not pwred. The normal procedure is for a crewmember aboard the aircraft to authority/authorized the boarding process when both the aircraft and the crew are ready. In this case, we were returning from a lunch break and the ramp agent had authority/authorized the boarding without checking with anyone. Supplemental information from acn 301776: the aircraft had been boarded by the gate agent who worked for other air carrier who handles us at pit.
