Narrative:
Ground control cleared us to our gate via foxtrot and the inner. To navigate to gate we passed between a parked jet in an area described as the 'parking patch,' and a jet being pushed back from 'B' concourse. There is plenty of room for aircraft to maneuver on this ramp area, and our taxi speed was cautiously slow. The driver of the tug apparently came to an abrupt stop when he saw my aircraft causing some damage to the nose gear on the other aircraft. We were unaware of any conflict and were informed of the apparent damage to the aircraft being pushed back later in the day.
