Narrative:
Air carrier X departed on runway 12 at mia. First officer advised an ultralight passed under, approximately 200-400 ft. Our altitude was approximately 2800 ft climbing. I immediately advised ATC, then called company dispatch to follow up. My concern that our turbulence may have upset the ultralight or another departing aircraft could collide. Neither TCASII nor ATC radar can see and advise.

Title: ACR X HAD NMAC WITH ULTRALIGHT IN CLASS B AIRSPACE.
Narrative: ACR X DEPARTED ON RWY 12 AT MIA. FO ADVISED AN ULTRALIGHT PASSED UNDER, APPROX 200-400 FT. OUR ALT WAS APPROX 2800 FT CLBING. I IMMEDIATELY ADVISED ATC, THEN CALLED COMPANY DISPATCH TO FOLLOW UP. MY CONCERN THAT OUR TURB MAY HAVE UPSET THE ULTRALIGHT OR ANOTHER DEPARTING ACFT COULD COLLIDE. NEITHER TCASII NOR ATC RADAR CAN SEE AND ADVISE.
