Narrative:
Approximately 100 mi south of stl, oil pressure low engine #1 was displayed on MFDU. Within 2 mins the condition degraded to oil pressure limit #1 message. Engine shutdown per checklist. Uneventful diversion and landing at stl. An emergency was declared. The landing weight was below maximum at 86900 pounds.
