Narrative:
Mojave airport has non federal control tower between XA00-XB00 wkdays, otherwise uncontrolled. CTAF is 127.6, los angeles sectional, shows unicom 122.8. Approaching on apr/sat/95 I called 127.66, got no answer, then 122.8 no answer (lot of interference from apple valley on 122.8). I then landed, with blind calls to traffic (there was none) and then flew some nonstandard patterns simulating engine failures. Finally I did get a call on 122.8 advising me to use 127.6 for advisories, after I said I saw a departing aircraft. Why not remove 122.8 from the sectional chart and show 127.6 as CTAF? Potential exists for aircraft using different frequencys to not know about each other.
