Narrative:
Copilot was flying ILS on flight director. Flight director gave erroneous flight left command. We deviated slightly left during parallel ILS operations. Tower advised us to reintercept final. Conflict was avoided by both visual separation and TCASII awareness (no TCASII alert). I should have been monitoring the first officer's flying more closely as he was new from the flight engineer panel.
