Narrative:
On apr/sun/95, at approximately XA00Z I ignorantly flew over the infamous farm at decker, mi. I am a full time flight instructor of 20 yrs experience and should have known to check with flight service. The airspace was restr at the time, unbeknownst to me. It was a spontaneous decision made by myself and 2 students to take a look at the farm that was in an area that we often fly. I didn't discover about the restr NOTAM until the following apr/sat/95, when I was much dismayed, embarrassed, and felt very regretful about it. I learned that if a notorious incident occurs, one should check to see if the FAA has placed any restrs on the airspace.
