Narrative:
In-flight we were given a crossing restr to cross cxr at 10000 ft and 250 KTS. We started down late and were given a vector off the airway to make our restr. I had calculated our descent point but, unfortunately, had the wrong station tuned, so the DME was wrong. It would have been nice if the controller had called sooner, questioning our descent. The flight continued to cle with no other incidents.

Title: THE FLC FAILED TO COMPLY WITH ALT RESTR.
Narrative: INFLT WE WERE GIVEN A XING RESTR TO CROSS CXR AT 10000 FT AND 250 KTS. WE STARTED DOWN LATE AND WERE GIVEN A VECTOR OFF THE AIRWAY TO MAKE OUR RESTR. I HAD CALCULATED OUR DSCNT POINT BUT, UNFORTUNATELY, HAD THE WRONG STATION TUNED, SO THE DME WAS WRONG. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THE CTLR HAD CALLED SOONER, QUESTIONING OUR DSCNT. THE FLT CONTINUED TO CLE WITH NO OTHER INCIDENTS.
