Narrative:
Level at FL290 received a descend RA on TCASII all red from plus 6000 ft to green band minus 1200-1500 ft. Descent was per company procedures to approximately 28600 ft then received a monitor vertical rate of descent due to traffic at approximately 1 O'clock at 28000 ft which we had visually. We never saw the traffic overhead and opposite direction traffic was never a factor. However, we had less than standard separation on FL280 traffic.

Title: LTSS. ACR CREW FOLLOWS TCASII RA AND ENCOUNTERS ANOTHER ACFT BELOW THEM THAN IS LTSS DISTANCE AWAY.
Narrative: LEVEL AT FL290 RECEIVED A DSND RA ON TCASII ALL RED FROM PLUS 6000 FT TO GREEN BAND MINUS 1200-1500 FT. DSCNT WAS PER COMPANY PROCS TO APPROX 28600 FT THEN RECEIVED A MONITOR VERT RATE OF DSCNT DUE TO TFC AT APPROX 1 O'CLOCK AT 28000 FT WHICH WE HAD VISUALLY. WE NEVER SAW THE TFC OVERHEAD AND OPPOSITE DIRECTION TFC WAS NEVER A FACTOR. HOWEVER, WE HAD LTSS ON FL280 TFC.
