Narrative:
After departure from lga to apf, experienced a loud noise, followed by a loud rumble and vibration and loss of power on #1 engine while climbing through FL250. Shut #1 engine down, declared an emergency, and landed at phl. Having professional flight training twice a yr made this seem like just another problem in the simulator for the crew, who were flying together for the first time.
