Narrative:

STAR. On the batsn 3 arrival, ATC cleared right turn to 255 at orter. Both captain and myself misread chart twice thinking orter was 5 DME versus 12 DME. The chart is inconsistent in that all other intersection DME's are on the top of radial. No apparent conflict resulted.

Narrative: STAR. ON THE BATSN 3 ARR, ATC CLRED R TURN TO 255 AT ORTER. BOTH CAPT AND MYSELF MISREAD CHART TWICE THINKING ORTER WAS 5 DME VERSUS 12 DME. THE CHART IS INCONSISTENT IN THAT ALL OTHER INTXN DME'S ARE ON THE TOP OF RADIAL. NO APPARENT CONFLICT RESULTED.
