Narrative:
Company filed flight plan through north route because of unreliable HF. ATC kept on giving us shortcuts and HF frequencys that we could not monitor. VHF contact was kept during the atlantic crossing.

Title: CLRNC DISPUTED. ACFT EQUIP PROB. THE HF RADIO WAS CONSIDERED UNRELIABLE AND THE FLT WAS PLANNED TO STAY WITHIN VHF RADIO RANGE, BUT ARTCC ATTEMPTED TO ASSIGN OPEN OCEAN ROUTING WITH HF FREQS. THE FLC PREVAILED.
