Narrative:
While cruising at 2500 ft MSL on a course of 353 degrees, I encountered 2 military A-10 aircraft at a relative bearing of '0' degrees (on a collision course). I took immediate evasive action by initiating a right turn. The A-10 aircraft also took evasive action to the right. Contributing factor: since the military aircraft are camouflaged, they are very difficult to see until at close range. I assume the military aircraft were returning to their bases at battle creek and station from the chippewa MOA. Suggested correction action: military aircraft should not travel cross country at low levels outside of MOA's.
