Narrative:
ZNY gave us a crossing restr off of deer park. I was navigating off of rbv and the first officer had jfk tuned in. I switched to jfk and dialed in 085 degrees and then turned my attention to deer park to calculate the descent for the crossing restr. I initiated the descent and then noticed the jfk radial had been crossed. After initiating the right turn, ATC informed us we had missed the turn for J222 and cleared us direct to deer park.

Title: TRACK DEV, TURN POINT ON AIRWAY MISSED.
Narrative: ZNY GAVE US A XING RESTR OFF OF DEER PARK. I WAS NAVIGATING OFF OF RBV AND THE FO HAD JFK TUNED IN. I SWITCHED TO JFK AND DIALED IN 085 DEGS AND THEN TURNED MY ATTN TO DEER PARK TO CALCULATE THE DSCNT FOR THE XING RESTR. I INITIATED THE DSCNT AND THEN NOTICED THE JFK RADIAL HAD BEEN CROSSED. AFTER INITIATING THE R TURN, ATC INFORMED US WE HAD MISSED THE TURN FOR J222 AND CLRED US DIRECT TO DEER PARK.
