Narrative:
On taxi out departing from prague, czech republic. We called tower as we approached the end of runway 24. We told them we would be ready when we reached the end of the runway. His response was broken due to language and due to radio breakup and we weren't sure if he had cleared us into position and hold so I asked if we were cleared into position and hold. His reply was a single 'yes.' as our nose passed over the hold short line, tower called panicky and told us to stop. When we looked out we saw an airbus coming out of the cloud base to land. When we asked him he said he had never cleared us into position.
