Narrative:
It was the end of a long duty day flying north towards cincinnati just east of R-5503A. Heavy thunderstorms created many diversions on ATC. We were flying along and given new route and radar vector. Upon change of ATC frequency, given another route along with vector. I was now struggling to find new route on low charts and the PF became occupied with helping in the navigation. Looking up from the charts, I informed her (PF) she was right of vector approximately 40 degrees. Turning back on course, ATC informed us of close proximity to restr area and gave new heading. Factors affecting flight consisted of fatigue, WX, heavy cockpit workload, and focusing our attention on the radar for WX avoidance without having proper charts readily available.

Title: FLC DEVIATED FROM ASSIGNED VECTOR HDG.
Narrative: IT WAS THE END OF A LONG DUTY DAY FLYING N TOWARDS CINCINNATI JUST E OF R-5503A. HVY TSTMS CREATED MANY DIVERSIONS ON ATC. WE WERE FLYING ALONG AND GIVEN NEW RTE AND RADAR VECTOR. UPON CHANGE OF ATC FREQ, GIVEN ANOTHER RTE ALONG WITH VECTOR. I WAS NOW STRUGGLING TO FIND NEW RTE ON LOW CHARTS AND THE PF BECAME OCCUPIED WITH HELPING IN THE NAV. LOOKING UP FROM THE CHARTS, I INFORMED HER (PF) SHE WAS R OF VECTOR APPROX 40 DEGS. TURNING BACK ON COURSE, ATC INFORMED US OF CLOSE PROX TO RESTR AREA AND GAVE NEW HDG. FACTORS AFFECTING FLT CONSISTED OF FATIGUE, WX, HVY COCKPIT WORKLOAD, AND FOCUSING OUR ATTN ON THE RADAR FOR WX AVOIDANCE WITHOUT HAVING PROPER CHARTS READILY AVAILABLE.
