Narrative:
On the afternoon of jun/xa/95, flight XXXX from miami, florida to marsh harbour, bahamas began to taxi out for departure. I followed the marshal's instructions. He was standing 20 ft in front of the airplane guiding me out through an alley between 2 fuel trucks. I followed his instructions and the left wingtip struck the edge of one of the fuel trucks. There was $5000 worth of damage to the airplane, and no damage to the fuel truck. At the time of the accident, it was raining heavily and I was following the marshal's instructions without looking left or right of the airplane. The marshal was fired but I believe this accident could have been avoided if wing walkers were required.
