Narrative:
Air carrier X departed runway 27L and issued a heading of 250 degree. Air carrier Y (B73S) departed runway 27L and issued runway heading. Y checked on departure using wrong frequency. Y was given correct frequency and he subsequently checked on. I observed Y on a southwest heading quickly overtaking air carrier X. I issued Y an immediate right turn to 270 degree and X an immediate left turn to 180 degree. After checking with Y several times, he admitted the tower local controller issued a runway heading after departure. Y 'messed up' and inadvertently put in the wrong heading on their bug.

Title: ACR Y NON ADHERENCE TO ATC CLRNC FLEW WRONG HDG AFTER TKOF HAD LTSS FROM ACR X.
Narrative: ACR X DEPARTED RWY 27L AND ISSUED A HDG OF 250 DEG. ACR Y (B73S) DEPARTED RWY 27L AND ISSUED RWY HDG. Y CHKED ON DEP USING WRONG FREQ. Y WAS GIVEN CORRECT FREQ AND HE SUBSEQUENTLY CHKED ON. I OBSERVED Y ON A SW HDG QUICKLY OVERTAKING ACR X. I ISSUED Y AN IMMEDIATE R TURN TO 270 DEG AND X AN IMMEDIATE L TURN TO 180 DEG. AFTER CHKING WITH Y SEVERAL TIMES, HE ADMITTED THE TWR LCL CTLR ISSUED A RWY HDG AFTER DEP. Y 'MESSED UP' AND INADVERTENTLY PUT IN THE WRONG HDG ON THEIR BUG.
