Narrative:
On taxi out from gate to runway 8R in atlanta, flight crew was informed by another flight crew, as well as a passenger, of possible foreign object damage by #2 engine. No abnormal cockpit indications were noted and flight crew elected to continue. Engines were run up to takeoff power prior to brake release. All engine instruments were checked and were normal. Passing 110 KTS on takeoff roll, #2 engine experienced a mild compressor stall and takeoff was aborted. On postflt inspection, remnants of a plastic bag were discovered in the #2 intake. Following maintenance inspection, flight continued normally. Supplemental information from acn 307850: takeoff was aborted with the braking rejected takeoff working flawlessly. Aircraft turned off active runway at taxiway 'D' -- the approximately mid-point.
