Narrative:

Possible ONS off course follow up. When we were asked about our routing and responded with we are going direct to jhw, we had only been on the frequency for a brief time, 1 or 2 mins. So, if we were so far off course the previous controllers never asked about our position or clearance. This leads me to believe we might have been deviating, more so than going direct jhw. There were no conflicts. The controller asked the questions, then gave us direct albany and that was it.

Narrative: POSSIBLE ONS OFF COURSE FOLLOW UP. WHEN WE WERE ASKED ABOUT OUR ROUTING AND RESPONDED WITH WE ARE GOING DIRECT TO JHW, WE HAD ONLY BEEN ON THE FREQ FOR A BRIEF TIME, 1 OR 2 MINS. SO, IF WE WERE SO FAR OFF COURSE THE PREVIOUS CTLRS NEVER ASKED ABOUT OUR POS OR CLRNC. THIS LEADS ME TO BELIEVE WE MIGHT HAVE BEEN DEVIATING, MORE SO THAN GOING DIRECT JHW. THERE WERE NO CONFLICTS. THE CTLR ASKED THE QUESTIONS, THEN GAVE US DIRECT ALBANY AND THAT WAS IT.
