Narrative:
I was piloting a C150. On preflight I could not find the checklist so I did the run-up by memory. In doing so I forgot to turn on my radios. I made my call to the williamsburg traffic but obviously no one heard me. I didn't think it was unusual that I heard nothing over the radios since I was flying out of a small uncontrolled field. I made a check for traffic on final but didn't notice a king air coming in due to haze. I pulled out on the runway and forced the king air to do a go around. I saw the king air go by as I was lifting off the ground. Then I checked my radios and turned them on. The king air pilot said he went over me at about 500 ft. This unfortunate occurrence could have been avoided if I had used my checklist.
