Narrative:
We were in cruise at FL350 in radar contact with zan approaching intersection of R-220. Air carrier Y appeared on our right at same altitude approximately 3 mi. Air carrier Z was at our 6 O'clock position at FL330, 3 mi. Both air carrier Y and air carrier Z appeared on our TCASII but no TA or RA was noted. Zan descended air carrier Z then we descended to FL330, air carrier Y remained at FL350. If we had not been visual or in IMC the outcome may have been different.
