Narrative:

Arriving fll on 122 degree radial rsw at 9000 ft. Received TCASII TA followed by RA. Copilot climbed to 9600 ft. Closest point to traffic that was pointed out at 8500 ft was 300 ft on the TCASII. Supplemental information from acn 311120: en route to fll at 9000 ft. The TCASII signaled traffic at 300 ft below us. The TCASII then prompted an RA. Climb at approximately 2000 FPM. This occurred at the rsw 122 degree radial, 45 NM. The event was completed by the rsw 122 degree radial, 52 NM. At the time we were talking with ZMA and they were advised of the RA climb and also the descent back to assigned 9000 ft.
