Narrative:
Took off from bkl and thought I could proceed VFR. Decided to climb over scattered low level clouds. Thought I was out of class B airspace and later realized I wasn't. Should have prepared for flight conditions more realistically.

Title: WHILE ATTEMPTING TO CLB CLR OF CLOUDS AFTER TKOF, A FLT INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT PENETRATED CLASS B AIRSPACE.
Narrative: TOOK OFF FROM BKL AND THOUGHT I COULD PROCEED VFR. DECIDED TO CLB OVER SCATTERED LOW LEVEL CLOUDS. THOUGHT I WAS OUT OF CLASS B AIRSPACE AND LATER REALIZED I WASN'T. SHOULD HAVE PREPARED FOR FLT CONDITIONS MORE REALISTICALLY.
