Narrative:

I departed creswell airport. My altimeter was set at field elevation. I headed west to do some practice maneuvers. After I finished the maneuvers, I proceeded to fly towards my house, which is estimated to be less than 500 ft MSL, to see if my mother was home. I noted that my altimeter was reading 1100 ft MSL. The area is sparsely populated (we live on 62 acres). When I landed at creswell airport, the manager told me that our neighbor called and wanted me to call him. Instead of calling him, I went to his house. Thinking there was nothing wrong, I submitted information about myself and my airplane including my n-number. He indicated that I was flying too low.
