Narrative:
Clearance was gail 7 departure from cvg to phl. After a runway 18L takeoff, LNAV was engaged but did not track magenta line. Aircraft drifted right near departure path for runway 18R. Closed to within 2 NM and 700 ft of departing aircraft on runway 18R before pilots realized error, engaged heading select and corrected situation by turning to 165 degree heading on departure. Factors were over reliance on FMS navigation and pilots not properly monitoring the LNAV performance.
