Narrative:
Landing light conventional gear aircraft on btv runway 33 with approximately 20 KT quartering crosswind. As touching down, tower advised taxi instructions. Upon rolling out, responded to transmission, complied with instructions, and requested to ATC that if possible, to not transmit to conventional gear aircraft while touching down. Controller's response was crass and uncooperative. This pilot has observed numerous incidents of ATC being unaware and unconcerned with light aircraft operational issues.
