Narrative:

In a rush to depart on grass runway 18 prior to the arrival of another aircraft on an intersecting grass runway, I taxied into position on runway 18. Upon getting into position, I realized there was an aircraft landing in the opposite direction on runway 36. I pulled off to the side of the runway and then realized I was blocking the intersecting grass runway 31 which another aircraft was on base for. The other aircraft that had landed on runway 36 was getting near the turnoff, so I began my takeoff roll. The other aircraft delayed his clearing of the runway so I was forced to stay on the left side of the runway during my roll for takeoff. Should have aborted takeoff, waited for aircraft on runway 31 to land and then back taxied into position. Other factors: I was really rushing everything, should have slowed down. Poor visual check of runway, I should have checked out for landing aircraft more thoroughly. Wind was calm, aircraft can be operated on any runway. Hard surface runway was closed forcing everybody onto grass runways, no radio use by aircraft landing on runway 36.

Title: AN SMA TOOK OFF WITH AN ACFT STILL ON THE RWY.

Narrative: IN A RUSH TO DEPART ON GRASS RWY 18 PRIOR TO THE ARR OF ANOTHER ACFT ON AN INTERSECTING GRASS RWY, I TAXIED INTO POS ON RWY 18. UPON GETTING INTO POS, I REALIZED THERE WAS AN ACFT LNDG IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION ON RWY 36. I PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE RWY AND THEN REALIZED I WAS BLOCKING THE INTERSECTING GRASS RWY 31 WHICH ANOTHER ACFT WAS ON BASE FOR. THE OTHER ACFT THAT HAD LANDED ON RWY 36 WAS GETTING NEAR THE TURNOFF, SO I BEGAN MY TKOF ROLL. THE OTHER ACFT DELAYED HIS CLRING OF THE RWY SO I WAS FORCED TO STAY ON THE L SIDE OF THE RWY DURING MY ROLL FOR TKOF. SHOULD HAVE ABORTED TKOF, WAITED FOR ACFT ON RWY 31 TO LAND AND THEN BACK TAXIED INTO POS. OTHER FACTORS: I WAS REALLY RUSHING EVERYTHING, SHOULD HAVE SLOWED DOWN. POOR VISUAL CHK OF RWY, I SHOULD HAVE CHKED OUT FOR LNDG ACFT MORE THOROUGHLY. WIND WAS CALM, ACFT CAN BE OPERATED ON ANY RWY. HARD SURFACE RWY WAS CLOSED FORCING EVERYBODY ONTO GRASS RWYS, NO RADIO USE BY ACFT LNDG ON RWY 36.
