Narrative:

Apparently the first officer and I departed phx without the required aircraft flight manual on board. The crew receiving our aircraft informed us of the incident the following day. We both thought our preflight was completed correctly prior to departure but apparently our perception and judgement was impaired partially due to stress and dissatisfaction with current working conditions at our air carrier company. Our air carrier company recently instituted a new pilot contract that increased our flying time to the legal limit -- 90 hours per month, and 1000 hours per yr. The company's non-recognition of pilot fatigue is increasing negative factors affecting the quality of human performance. NASA should consider doing a thorough safety inspection of this air carrier company's scheduling procedures.
