I've heard it all now. Called jax flight watch on 134.17 and asked for mdw WX since our crew was scheduled to fly to mdw after a stopover in atl. Jax flight watch said 'that's not our function, we only provide WX for your destination.' you gotta be kidding me. We paid our taxes -- his job is to provide me with any WX I request since it is for the purpose of our flight. They must be told of this fact. We are professional pilots working with unprofessional, rude flight watch personnel.
