Narrative:
Upon departing san carlos, I misinterpreted the flight guide information which should keep me out of the class B airspace. It would be helpful to receive a clearance before takeoff, so you wouldn't be orbiting around trying to make contact with approach.

Title: AFTER DEP FROM AN ARPT IN CLOSE PROX OF CLASS B AIRSPACE, A PLT PENETRATED THE AIRSPACE WHILE AWAITING CLRNC.
Narrative: UPON DEPARTING SAN CARLOS, I MISINTERPRETED THE FLT GUIDE INFO WHICH SHOULD KEEP ME OUT OF THE CLASS B AIRSPACE. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO RECEIVE A CLRNC BEFORE TKOF, SO YOU WOULDN'T BE ORBITING AROUND TRYING TO MAKE CONTACT WITH APCH.
