Narrative:
I picked up aircraft in fat that had just been svced. It had a repair to the 'right' fuel pressure switch and gauge. After departing fat and reaching 10000 ft, I noticed the 'left' fuel pressure light illuminated. I radioed fat operations and returned to fat. I mistakenly forgot to write 'left' fuel pressure. I just wrote 'fuel light illuminated about 10000 ft.' so fat maintenance checked 'right' system and deferred maintenance item the light circuit on the 'right' side. We took off for sfo and, upon reaching 10000 ft, the 'left' light came on again and we realized our mistake and returned to fat. We did not declare an emergency, as it was simply an indicator problem. Fuel pressure and flow were normal. Fresno maintenance cleared deferred maintenance item on 'right' side, and deferred maintenance item the 'left' indicator. We took off at that point to finish our scheduled trip.

Title: COMMUTER LTT RETURN LAND PROC WHEN FUEL PRESSURE LIGHT ACTIVATES.
Narrative: I PICKED UP ACFT IN FAT THAT HAD JUST BEEN SVCED. IT HAD A REPAIR TO THE 'R' FUEL PRESSURE SWITCH AND GAUGE. AFTER DEPARTING FAT AND REACHING 10000 FT, I NOTICED THE 'L' FUEL PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. I RADIOED FAT OPS AND RETURNED TO FAT. I MISTAKENLY FORGOT TO WRITE 'L' FUEL PRESSURE. I JUST WROTE 'FUEL LIGHT ILLUMINATED ABOUT 10000 FT.' SO FAT MAINT CHKED 'R' SYS AND DEFERRED MAINT ITEM THE LIGHT CIRCUIT ON THE 'R' SIDE. WE TOOK OFF FOR SFO AND, UPON REACHING 10000 FT, THE 'L' LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AND WE REALIZED OUR MISTAKE AND RETURNED TO FAT. WE DID NOT DECLARE AN EMER, AS IT WAS SIMPLY AN INDICATOR PROB. FUEL PRESSURE AND FLOW WERE NORMAL. FRESNO MAINT CLRED DEFERRED MAINT ITEM ON 'R' SIDE, AND DEFERRED MAINT ITEM THE 'L' INDICATOR. WE TOOK OFF AT THAT POINT TO FINISH OUR SCHEDULED TRIP.
