Narrative:
While in cruise at FL410 in B747 between (A901) iprop and ignis in IMC, encountered sudden severe turbulence. #2 and #3 engines rolled back to flight idle and shortly thereafter #3 flamed out. #2 engine control took place at FL300, followed by the relight of #3 engine at FL280. The rest of the approach and landing in hong kong was uneventful.

Narrative: WHILE IN CRUISE AT FL410 IN B747 BTWN (A901) IPROP AND IGNIS IN IMC, ENCOUNTERED SUDDEN SEVERE TURB. #2 AND #3 ENGS ROLLED BACK TO FLT IDLE AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER #3 FLAMED OUT. #2 ENG CTL TOOK PLACE AT FL300, FOLLOWED BY THE RELIGHT OF #3 ENG AT FL280.
