Narrative:
Multi-engine familiarization training was being conducted in an area near gila bend. During maneuvers, I allowed the flight to progress unknowingly into R2304. When I discovered the error, I proceeded northwest to depart the area and notified gila bend af auxiliary tower. I was advised to proceed to a point 1 mi south of gila bend af auxiliary field at 8500 ft MSL to clear the area and the local controller advised military aircraft in the area of my position. I initially recognized my position when I saw ground references (bombing circles, parked aircraft targets) that I knew were not in my training area. The area was active and military bombing practice was in progress. During my departure from the area, I observed 1 military jet and some smoke from a dropped bomb. I attribute drifting into this airspace to not maintaining a current orientation of my position due to a long, unbroken sequence of training maneuvers -- paying too much attention to the maneuvers and not enough to my position. This incident was also reported by me to my supervisors and safety officer.

Title: TRAINING ACFT ENTERED R-2304.
Narrative: MULTI-ENG FAMILIARIZATION TRAINING WAS BEING CONDUCTED IN AN AREA NEAR GILA BEND. DURING MANEUVERS, I ALLOWED THE FLT TO PROGRESS UNKNOWINGLY INTO R2304. WHEN I DISCOVERED THE ERROR, I PROCEEDED NW TO DEPART THE AREA AND NOTIFIED GILA BEND AF AUX TWR. I WAS ADVISED TO PROCEED TO A POINT 1 MI S OF GILA BEND AF AUX FIELD AT 8500 FT MSL TO CLR THE AREA AND THE LCL CTLR ADVISED MIL ACFT IN THE AREA OF MY POS. I INITIALLY RECOGNIZED MY POS WHEN I SAW GND REFS (BOMBING CIRCLES, PARKED ACFT TARGETS) THAT I KNEW WERE NOT IN MY TRAINING AREA. THE AREA WAS ACTIVE AND MIL BOMBING PRACTICE WAS IN PROGRESS. DURING MY DEP FROM THE AREA, I OBSERVED 1 MIL JET AND SOME SMOKE FROM A DROPPED BOMB. I ATTRIBUTE DRIFTING INTO THIS AIRSPACE TO NOT MAINTAINING A CURRENT ORIENTATION OF MY POS DUE TO A LONG, UNBROKEN SEQUENCE OF TRAINING MANEUVERS -- PAYING TOO MUCH ATTN TO THE MANEUVERS AND NOT ENOUGH TO MY POS. THIS INCIDENT WAS ALSO RPTED BY ME TO MY SUPVRS AND SAFETY OFFICER.
