Narrative:
I was attempting to contact ground control for taxi instructions, meanwhile the captain proceeded to taxi on to taxiway F. I advised him that we were not cleared to taxi, we were instructed to standby. There was not enough room to maneuver the aircraft off the taxiway so we stopped and awaited further instruction. This occurred because the captain's situational awareness was quite poor. I should have told him to stop sooner, since he wasn't in the loop. This is a CRM problem which is currently being addressed by my company.

Title: CAPT TAXIES WITHOUT RECEIVING TAXI CLRNC.
Narrative: I WAS ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT GND CTL FOR TAXI INSTRUCTIONS, MEANWHILE THE CAPT PROCEEDED TO TAXI ON TO TXWY F. I ADVISED HIM THAT WE WERE NOT CLRED TO TAXI, WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO STANDBY. THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH ROOM TO MANEUVER THE ACFT OFF THE TXWY SO WE STOPPED AND AWAITED FURTHER INSTRUCTION. THIS OCCURRED BECAUSE THE CAPT'S SITUATIONAL AWARENESS WAS QUITE POOR. I SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM TO STOP SOONER, SINCE HE WASN'T IN THE LOOP. THIS IS A CRM PROB WHICH IS CURRENTLY BEING ADDRESSED BY MY COMPANY.
