Narrative:
While on run-up I heard the other aircraft declare downwind, and the tower cleared them for landing. I finished my run-up, called tower and told them I was 'ready to go.' tower cleared me for takeoff. As I taxied onto the runway the aircraft flew over me and landed further down, after asking tower if he should go around. Tower told him to land, and told me to hold in position, which I did. It was not really 'close,' but I should have been aware of where the pitts was. I will never taxi onto a runway again without looking for someone else on final!

Title: TWR CLRED A PITTS SPECIAL FOR LNDG AND PRIOR TO HIS TOUCHDOWN CLRED A CESSNA FOR TKOF ON THE SAME RWY. THE CESSNA PLT SAW THE PITTS FLY OVERHEAD AS HE LINED UP FOR TKOF AND HE HELD HIS POS UNTIL THE PITTS LANDED.
