Narrative:
Our aircraft was late arriving at the gate from the maintenance hangar. During preflight, we found numerous switches out of position, and an EICAS message which required maintenance action and MEL checking. We also had the aircraft incorrectly fueled -- ie, overfueled and out of balance -- long discussion whether to adjust fuel load or new weight and balance. These conditions created an environment in which the captain and I felt rushed and pressured to effect an on time departure. On takeoff, at approximately 90 KIAS, a loud hissing noise was heard near the captain's window. The captain elected to abort the takeoff. We cleared the runway. The captain found his window said locked but was partially open. Contributing factors: fourth leg/third aircraft change that day with the second aircraft having multiple MEL items. (Fatigue.) trying to deal with numerous problems simultaneously. Recommendations: when you leave aircraft, all windows should be closed fully or open fully, not ambush-partially closed.

Title: ACR CREW FAILED TO CLOSE A COCKPIT SIDE WINDOW ON A B757 OR B767. TKOF ABORTED DUE TO LOUD HISSING NOISE.
Narrative: OUR ACFT WAS LATE ARRIVING AT THE GATE FROM THE MAINT HANGAR. DURING PREFLT, WE FOUND NUMEROUS SWITCHES OUT OF POS, AND AN EICAS MESSAGE WHICH REQUIRED MAINT ACTION AND MEL CHKING. WE ALSO HAD THE ACFT INCORRECTLY FUELED -- IE, OVERFUELED AND OUT OF BAL -- LONG DISCUSSION WHETHER TO ADJUST FUEL LOAD OR NEW WT AND BAL. THESE CONDITIONS CREATED AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THE CAPT AND I FELT RUSHED AND PRESSURED TO EFFECT AN ON TIME DEP. ON TKOF, AT APPROX 90 KIAS, A LOUD HISSING NOISE WAS HEARD NEAR THE CAPT'S WINDOW. THE CAPT ELECTED TO ABORT THE TKOF. WE CLRED THE RWY. THE CAPT FOUND HIS WINDOW SAID LOCKED BUT WAS PARTIALLY OPEN. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: FOURTH LEG/THIRD ACFT CHANGE THAT DAY WITH THE SECOND ACFT HAVING MULTIPLE MEL ITEMS. (FATIGUE.) TRYING TO DEAL WITH NUMEROUS PROBS SIMULTANEOUSLY. RECOMMENDATIONS: WHEN YOU LEAVE ACFT, ALL WINDOWS SHOULD BE CLOSED FULLY OR OPEN FULLY, NOT AMBUSH-PARTIALLY CLOSED.
