Narrative:
We were proceeding to kuwait under jedda control, clearance was H-55 to ash, G-51 to ail, B-54 to kuwait. We were established on B-54 at novem intersection (check point) and jedda control handed us over to bahrain control. Between novem and hfr, bahrain told us we were not to be on B-54 and to establish on A-1 but with no instructions or clearance to get there. Several request for clearance instructions to get to A-1 were requested along with available altitudes on B-54 with no response. We were finally handed off to kuwait who had us remain on B-54 and gave us descent and clearance into kuwait. Upon landing at kuwait we were advised that bahrain was filing a missed airways report. We proceeded at all times by our ATC clearance and flight plan route which at no time included any mention or clearance to or on A-1 or into bahrain airspace.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR, OBBB FO, STATES THAT FLC WAS ON WRONG AIRWAY.
Narrative: WE WERE PROCEEDING TO KUWAIT UNDER JEDDA CTL, CLRNC WAS H-55 TO ASH, G-51 TO AIL, B-54 TO KUWAIT. WE WERE ESTABLISHED ON B-54 AT NOVEM INTXN (CHK POINT) AND JEDDA CTL HANDED US OVER TO BAHRAIN CTL. BTWN NOVEM AND HFR, BAHRAIN TOLD US WE WERE NOT TO BE ON B-54 AND TO ESTABLISH ON A-1 BUT WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS OR CLRNC TO GET THERE. SEVERAL REQUEST FOR CLRNC INSTRUCTIONS TO GET TO A-1 WERE REQUESTED ALONG WITH AVAILABLE ALTS ON B-54 WITH NO RESPONSE. WE WERE FINALLY HANDED OFF TO KUWAIT WHO HAD US REMAIN ON B-54 AND GAVE US DSCNT AND CLRNC INTO KUWAIT. UPON LNDG AT KUWAIT WE WERE ADVISED THAT BAHRAIN WAS FILING A MISSED AIRWAYS RPT. WE PROCEEDED AT ALL TIMES BY OUR ATC CLRNC AND FLT PLAN RTE WHICH AT NO TIME INCLUDED ANY MENTION OR CLRNC TO OR ON A-1 OR INTO BAHRAIN AIRSPACE.
