Narrative:
On the landing rollout, student retracted flaps, placed hand on throttles then reached over and raised the landing gear. I immediately lowered the gear but landing gear still retracted. Reason why this happened? Student raised landing gear at an inappropriate time, for no rational reason.

Title: TRAINEE ACCIDENTALLY RETRACTED THE LNDG GEAR DURING LNDG ROLL CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE SMA TWIN ACFT.
Narrative: ON THE LNDG ROLLOUT, STUDENT RETRACTED FLAPS, PLACED HAND ON THROTTLES THEN REACHED OVER AND RAISED THE LNDG GEAR. I IMMEDIATELY LOWERED THE GEAR BUT LNDG GEAR STILL RETRACTED. REASON WHY THIS HAPPENED? STUDENT RAISED LNDG GEAR AT AN INAPPROPRIATE TIME, FOR NO RATIONAL REASON.
