Narrative:
Descending from FL240 to FL220. Answered descent clearance on ZDC frequency 127.75. Aircraft microphone stuck on first officer's side causing frequency interference. TCASII alert on aircraft 500 ft below. Given 'climb' RA and went back up to FL240 from FL230. Found stuck microphone and cleared the frequency. Out of contact approximately 5 mins with ZDC. Old junky microphone needs to be replaced.

Narrative: DSNDING FROM FL240 TO FL220. ANSWERED DSCNT CLRNC ON ZDC FREQ 127.75. ACFT MIKE STUCK ON FO'S SIDE CAUSING FREQ INTERFERENCE. TCASII ALERT ON ACFT 500 FT BELOW. GIVEN 'CLB' RA AND WENT BACK UP TO FL240 FROM FL230. FOUND STUCK MIKE AND CLRED THE FREQ. OUT OF CONTACT APPROX 5 MINS WITH ZDC. OLD JUNKY MIKE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.
