Narrative:
The contract tower controller did not want position reports on inbound IFR aircraft. I find this unsafe, and while there is usually very little traffic at txk, that is no excuse to degrade safety.

Title: CONTRACT TWR CTLR REFUSED TO TAKE POS RPTS FROM ARTCC CTLR.
Narrative: THE CONTRACT TWR CTLR DID NOT WANT POS RPTS ON INBOUND IFR ACFT. I FIND THIS UNSAFE, AND WHILE THERE IS USUALLY VERY LITTLE TFC AT TXK, THAT IS NO EXCUSE TO DEGRADE SAFETY.
