Narrative:
I descended out of 13000 ft on the jammn 1, 2 mi prior to spiek and I can't tell you why. It was only a 300 ft deviation in VMC so it was not dangerous, but it was still stupid. The first officer was off talking to the company. The jammn 1 SID plate is very busy, mixes 'expect' and 'cross' altitudes and has 2 'maintain' altitudes on the south flow.
