Narrative:
After several mins of not hearing ATC on the radio, I called the controller. He advised me that I should be on a different frequency which he proceeded to give me. Upon checking in on the new frequency, the controller advised me that he had called us several times and was trying to get in contact with us. I don't know if we missed the calls or set up the radios on the wrong frequency, or if the controllers made the mistake.

Title: FLC DID NOT CHANGE FREQ AS INTENDED BY THE CTLR.
Narrative: AFTER SEVERAL MINS OF NOT HEARING ATC ON THE RADIO, I CALLED THE CTLR. HE ADVISED ME THAT I SHOULD BE ON A DIFFERENT FREQ WHICH HE PROCEEDED TO GIVE ME. UPON CHKING IN ON THE NEW FREQ, THE CTLR ADVISED ME THAT HE HAD CALLED US SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH US. I DON'T KNOW IF WE MISSED THE CALLS OR SET UP THE RADIOS ON THE WRONG FREQ, OR IF THE CTLRS MADE THE MISTAKE.
