Narrative:
On approach into sux our approach check was interrupted by a radio call to change from approach control to tower control. As a result the notification to our flight attendants was missed on the approach check. They also did not pick up the noise or feel of our gear and flaps going down so they were not prepared for landing when we touched down. They did not notice out the window that we were getting close to the ground.
